You deserve to feel seen, safe, and supported.

My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you can exhale, a place where you don’t have to hold everything together. Healing begins with compassion and connection, and real change happens when we feel understood without judgment. I don’t see my clients as diagnoses or problems to be fixed, but as whole people with complex stories and incredible resilience.

Therapy with me is collaborative and compassionate. While I bring professional training and tools, you bring the most important part, your story. Together, we work to find balance, healing, and hope. Whether you’re navigating trauma, grief, or emotional overwhelm, my goal is to help you find balance and self-understanding at your own pace.

From science to the human spirit

Before becoming a therapist, I earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and once planned to attend medical school. But I found myself more drawn to the human stories behind illness, the emotions, struggles, and resilience that shape people’s lives. That curiosity led me to pursue mental health counseling, where I could blend evidence-based understanding with deep empathy and presence.

Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals navigating loss, trauma, and life transitions, often while facing systemic challenges like housing instability, financial strain, or limited access to care. These experiences have shown me that healing isn’t just about managing symptoms; it’s about restoring safety, reclaiming voice, and reconnecting with meaning.

This is one of my core beliefs in the therapeutic space: therapy should not only heal the individual but also honor the broader contexts of their life and identity.

Healing is possible, even when it feels impossible

Sometimes we carry pain that feels too heavy to name, grief that lingers, emotions that swing between extremes, or memories that won’t quiet down. My role is to help you make sense of it all with compassion and curiosity, not judgment.

I use an integrative approach rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care, while weaving in relational and humanistic principles. Together, we’ll explore both skill-building and emotional processing, learning to regulate, reflect, and rebuild trust in yourself and others.

I specialize in supporting individuals coping with trauma and PTSD, grief and perinatal loss, emotion dysregulation, and anxiety or depression. If you’re unsure where to begin, that’s okay! We will start exactly where you are.

Testimonials

I absolutely adore her. She has such a comforting aura. She always listens and helps me understand my own thoughts and problems. Plus, she let's me go off on tangents on all my recent hyper-fixations without judgment.

I cannot recommend my Caitlin highly enough. She truly excels in creating a safe and supportive environment where I feel completely heard and understood. Every session is a meaningful experience as she genuinely listens to my concerns and validates my feelings. What sets her apart is her ability to help me hold myself accountable while gently guiding me to see things from different perspectives. Her insightful approach has been transformative for my personal growth.

I met Caitlin a year ago. Her professional demeanor, combined with her genuine concern for her clients, makes her an outstanding mental health professional. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking support in managing stress or improving their relationships.

Caitlin is amazing, very down to earth & keeps it real.

Caitlin was great. I felt like she really listened to me and understood me. We bonded over our love for our kitty cats!

While Caitlin is my first therapist, I still can confidently say that she is among the best out there. I was very nervous to begin sessions, and from our very first session she made me feel comfortable and confident enough to open up, which has led to incredibly helpful and healing sessions. Caitlin is really excellent at helping you reflect on things that you may take for granted

Caitlin is amazing! I’ve only seen her a few times, but I can feel she is really making a difference in my life. I’ve seen other people over the years, but none of them compare. Caitlin possesses professionalism, yet she has a realness about her and she’s genuinely caring. Qualities like these are what you hope to find in a therapist. I wish I had seen Caitlin years ago.

Caitlin is a mental health provider who gets it. She was able to understand me as a fellow queer person from a conservative religious background. In our sessions, we’ve worked through me finding home in myself. And also how to find my way back there when I feel disconnected. I can’t recommend Caitlin enough.

My sessions with Caitlin have been nothing but great. She makes me feel so comfortable in our conversations and that helps me open up to her more and more. I could not have asked for a better person. I’m very grateful for her.

I love her!! So excited for her help in my self discovery journey 🙂
