Passion. Not a paycheck.

Have you ever felt like you were speaking, but weren’t being heard? We all know that’s not a good feeling and sometimes we equate one person’s wrongdoings to the majority.

You should never have to feel that way and just like each and every person, all therapists are unique, for better or for worse.

I can’t speak for others, but my passion continues to grow each and every day and it is with your commitment, efforts, and willingness to change that we are able to make this possibility a reality.

Therapy is a two way street.

Have you ever considered therapy? Have you ever heard about someone else’s experience in therapy? Was it positive or negative?

More often than not, I hear mentions about therapy being ineffective for numerous reasons. I believe it’s important to mention that one cannot expect change without implementing effort themselves. This not only applies to you, but also to me.

If this is your first time seeking therapy, I want you to ask yourself the same question: Are you willing to put in the effort to make a change?

If this isn’t your first time seeking therapy, I want to ask you a different question: What will you do differently in our sessions when compared to your past therapists?

We can make a difference together!

The past doesn’t determine future success!

More often than not, we tend to dwell on our past mistakes and wrongdoings, which can ultimately lead to the formation of maladaptive thinking and behaving patterns. Sometimes we try to move forward, but we still feel stuck. This is where I come in.

Through a multimodal approach, we will we will collaboratively develop solutions to issues, develop healthy coping skills, restore executive functioning, and much more!

In terms of a multimodal approach, I use a variety of techniques and evidence-based practices that best personalizes with your needs, interests, and desires. A few of these include, but are not limited to: Psychotherapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rogerian Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Solutions-focused brief therapy (SFBT), etc.
